This training program has been specifically designed and developed to address the unique set of circumstances associated with schools. This training program is customized for use at all levels, from elementary to college and can be implemented by a single school/college or an entire school district. It provides faculty, staff and students with a sustainable response strategy during an active shooter event. While the policies and procedures may be overarching, each physical location/building will receive a detail specific plan based on physical and human limitations. While most schools remain significantly unprotected, this three point program involving teachers and students along with a specific location plan, is designed to greatly increase the safety and survivability of students, faculty and staff during an active shooter event. 29% of all active shooter events occur on a school campus.
